New Year 2009

[updated: 05012009 / 17:18] Tun Dr.Mahathir said, "Terrorism" is going to be a part of the world scene for a very, very long time.

One day, the villagers decided to pray for rain. On the day of prayer everyone gathered and only 1 boy came with an umbrella. That's CONFIDENCE. When you throw a 1 year old baby in the air, he laughs because he knows you will catch him. That's TRUST. Every night we go to bed, we're not sure that we'll get up tomorrow but we still have many plans for the coming day. That's HOPE.

2009 will be one of the most challenging year. The world facing economy recession and expected by mid of the year, the crisis might go from bad to worst. Second challenges were the rise of terrorism due to the Israeli's attack against the Palestinian. Attack's against the civilian's is equall to terrorist attacks against the innocent. While I don't deny the "right to exist" for Israeli's, I do not condone the attacks against the civilians either on Palestinian's or Sri Lanka Tamilian's.

To overcome the challenges in 2009, we need CONFIDENCE, TRUST and HOPE. Wish you Happy New Year.
