Dear Joseph. Sorry for the late reply and thank you for browsing my blog.

In 21st century the threat does not come from land only but it can be either from space or maritime. While we have fighter jet to secure the space we dont have any single submarine to safe guard our sea from any security threat.

I strongly believe we must have this submarine at least as for a deterrent strategy. For your information compared to our neighbours we are actually very backward in maritime security and its timely to procure this sub marine.

Security also need investement and government have invested in navy to make sure our country is safe from any external maritime intrusion. Hope I asnwered your question.
