Are We Prepared For Biological Terror?

[updated: 15:07 / 07022009] In 1918 more than a million people died due to the flu virus. At that time no one knew the actual reason for the sudden flu and it was not man made virus. The then tragedy could be repeated in future but this time the virus will not be sudden pop-up but definitely the man made biological virus with the intention to mass destruction within a few seconds. Blue-Ribbon panel assembled by US Congress has concluded terrorist are likely to use a weapon of mass destruction somewhere in the world in next five years likely by 2013. The panel assumed the “mass destruction biological virus” still in laboratory but if it should get out and into the hands of scientist who their mind was doctrinaire with terrorist ideology then the number of mass destruction might involve millions. No intentions to create panic, but do we prepared to face the biological virus challenges?
