Abu Bakar Bashir back into Terrorism Radar

Indonesian police said evidence shows the hardline Muslim cleric Abu Bakar Bashir has funded an armed terrorist cell in Aceh. Bashir who was JI spritual leader, established the Jamaah Anshorut Tawhid. Indonesian police believed he is using the new group to fund the terrorist activitives while gettting the new recruitment especially graduate muslims.

Meanwhile Malaysian Special Branch reveal that JI has penetrated the higher education institution to get the new recruitment. Counter terrorism source said at least 22 under graduate students recruited after going through a series of so-called religious classes but in reality it was a doctrination lecture.
