EU Court Removes Tamil Tigers from Terrorism List

The European Union's top court on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 - removed Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) from terrorism list.

The court was in views that EU had not produced any evidence to show that there is a risk of the Tamil Tigers carrying out attacks after its military defeated in 2009. Thus, the Court of Justice confirms annulment of the continued freezing of the LTTE's fund.  

With this judgement LTTE is no more a proscribed organisation in EU continent.
