Bomb Blast in Southern Philippines

Singapore Straits Times reported a homemade bomb blast from inside a commuter bus in southern Philippines wounding 27 passengers. So far no one reported dead but other source said, at least ten passenger in serious condition. Police recovered broken nails used as shrapnel. Earlier in the week, military intelligence said the terrorist group was planning for the bomb attacks. Other than separatist, communist rebels operate in the area. However the notorious exortion syndicate Al Kobar was listed as a prime suspect.
