Will CHINA Retaliate?

1) United States of America, State Department said if no lawmakers voiced any objection within 30 days, US will upload US$6.5 billion worth of advanced weaponry to Taiwan. US said the deal is not a violation of one China policy instead is required by US Law “Taiwan Relations Act” which allows the US to provide Taiwan with defensive weapons against a possible invasion by China. In fact, China in various platforms has said, in whatever way they will invade and take over the island. [Taiwan split from Chinese mainland in 1949 when the communist took power]
2) US$6.5 billion deal consists of four Kidd-class destroyers, eight diesel submarines, 12 anti-submarine planes, Patriot III-anti missile system, Apache attacks helicopters, Harpoon missiles, Javelin anti-tank missiles upgrades for Taiwan’s E-2T aircraft and spare parts for its air force. 3) In responses China has sent the strongest dissenting signal to US. While China said the move will damage relations within two powers, China’s foreign minister immediately summoned US diplomatic officer in China to foreign minister office to make a strong protest while Chinese ambassador in US went to State Department office to protest the proposed weapons sale to Taiwan. On top of that, China has cancelled several meeting exchange with the US involve senior level visits and humanitarian assistance exchanges. China strongly believes Taiwan is theirs that must be reunited with the mainland and US have made a rude interference in China’s internal affairs. While Taiwan’s government welcomed the US decision and expect to receive the sophisticated Aegis Missile System, carried by US Arleigh-Burke class destroyer, China has responded very aggressively and any further move will de-stabilise the region. 4) The military business deal will have the capability to develop Taiwanese military power against Chinese army and it might be a major obstacle for China’s policy makers to reunite Taiwan again. When China said they reserves the complete right to take further actions indirectly it’s shows China already has the potential to challenge US power in Asia. 5) Prof Hugh White, head of the Strategic and Defence Studies centre at the Australian National University said, Beijing is “sharpening it’s capability to target American’s carrier which definitely will be a big blow either morally or physically to American’s superpower.” Intelligence source also reported China is building underground naval base in Sunya on Hainan Island. With 55 submarines of which eight are nuclear powered and others reported to be equipped with Yinggi 8 anti-ship cruise missiles with the capability that can be launched from underwater. Any un-strategic decision either by Taiwan or US in this deal will definitely drive the relationship from bad to worst. While the relations will be damaged forever, the China’s respond might destabilise the Asia and will make the Chinese dream to reunite Taiwan with mainland comes true in a near time. 6) So if you ask me will China retaliate on US$6.5 billion military business deal, my answer is “YES” definitely China will not keep their self in dark and assume nothing happen. Even I believe with the economy and financial collapse in US, the country will face the most critical situation to defend the rise of Chinese military against Taiwanese either to American army installation in Asia. The situation might go from bad to worst if Russia endorses China’s decision and willing to tender back-up if other US coalition supported White House. Who know may be World War IV will start with US$6.5 billion military business deal. [I assume the war against terror is World War III and it will continue forever even if new WW occurred]
