Turkish Government disclosed that the missing Saudi Journalist Jamal Khashoggi last stop was Saudi Arabia’s Consulate in Istanbul. Video recording shows, Jamal walk in to the office but he never walks out. Initial investigation indicated that Jamal’s life end in the consulate office. Saudi refuted the claim but was not supported with any hard prove. Meng Hongwei, Chief of International Police (Interpol) went back home to Beijing and since then no one know what happen to him. Media says he vanished after returning home and Interpol said he has resigned. However, China’s National Supervisory Commission in a one-line statement said that Meng is currently under investigation on suspicion of the violating the law . Nevertheless, foreign sources have reported Meng’s detention could be the reflection of power struggle in Beijing.
