Long Waited Justice for Cambodian

Long waited justice for atrocities committed during the Khmer Rouge rule in the late 1970s has come near to the end when Cambodian and International Judges are making final preparations to start the genocide trial of the former commander, Kaing Guek Eav alias Duch. He headed the S-21 "Prison and Torture Center." Only 14 out of 16,000 prisoners survived from this detention camp. 1.7 million people perish during the Khmer Rouge rules. Duch is one among of six suspect and the most wanted man was Pol Pot who died in 1998. Others was head of state Khieu Samphan, former chief ideologist Nuon Chea, ex-foreign Minister Ieng Sary and his wife Ieng Thirith. The worst crime in world is genocide and no criminal shall be left out from the atrocities.
