Happy Deepavali

This year, Deepavali fall on 27 Oct, it's a Monday. This festival usually falls around late October or November. For South Indians Hindu’s the legend behind the celebration was about the triumph of good over evil. There was a demon, Narakasura, ruled the kingdom of Pradyoshapuram. Under his rule, the villagers suffered a lot of hardship as the demon tortured the people and kidnapped the women to be imprisoned in his palace. Seeing his wickedness, Lord Khrishna set out to destroy the demon and the day Narakasura died was celebrated as Deepavali, the triumph of good over evil! There are various alleged origins attributed to this festival. I’m not writing this to analyze which one of the legend believed is true story but just to tell you the good definitely will win over the evil. It might have take days or years but definitely the evil will not be able to win over the good. Believe on GOD and help your self, GOD will help you to overcome the evil. Wish you HAPPY DEEPAVALI.
