International Community Not Bothered

Few months ago I watched the movie “Schindler List”. The movie was basically about the genocide against the Jews which occurred during the Second World War in Jerman. Schindler was a businessman who managed to save around 1000 Jews from being killed. He used his money power to bribe the Nazi’s by handing over a List of Jews to be saved. The movie shows the Jews was burn alive like no body business. The same tactics of genocide is happening in Eelam and International Organisation (IO) was seen not bothered to save the civilians. The IO was keen to force the Freedom Fighters (FF) to lay down their weapons and surrender before starting the negotiation which is definitely against the international protocols for peace negotiations. As far as the safety of civilians couldn’t be guaranteed by the IO then I don’t think the “FF” will agree to peace negotiations. Both parties must immediately implement the cease fire and SLA shall stop attacking the civilians. I don’t think the peace negotiations will start any near time and the war will continue even though SLA said they are winning the war. SLA victory was in murdering the civilians and the world is watching without any response. May be in future they will be another movie on par with “Schindler List” but unfortunately Schindler will not exist in this Eelam movie because the International Community was not bother to save Tamilian’s who was burn alive and dying on daily basis.

Vanakam Mr.Anonymous..... am I pro-tamil is not an issue. As I mention in my previous article, Palestin and Eelam was a humanitarian issue. Humanitarian issue shall be advocated irrespective of race or religion. Sri Lanka conflict was not the war between Sinhalese vs Tamilian but another humanitarian issue. I stand on that ground.

Be practical. To talk from humanitarian perspective Mr.Ravee not necessary be a Tamilian. I do understand he is malayalee yet he dare to voice out the plight of Tamil community in Eelam. I dont see any thing wrong by doing so.

Dear Mr Raveendran,

At least you have done this, I have been e-mailing this matter to the Amnesty International office, and they were more interested about Guantanamo Prison and Palestinian problem. !!
